My latest series “The Red Letter” was created as a transition from my past works into my next chapter as an Artist. It is a small memoir of all the words written in red in the Bible. Words that we write on our hearts, words that stand the test of time, and words that reign true to this day.

The piece called “Works Behind Faith” was created to remind us of how we are to be doers and not hearers only. Always moving forward. We only have a short time here on earth and every moment should be given to productivity in the gifts our Father had given us. This can include spending time with our spouses and/or children, creating the vision on canvas to speak to others, getting up and doing our daily responsibilities, etc etc… In doing so we are reinforcing our belief in His Word and knowing He will do just what He said. We often get so lost in just believing that we fail to put action behind it to become better stewards and honor the One who gave us this life we live. Luke 10:19 Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
The piece called “The Word” is actually still in progress and is a collaboration piece between my husband and fellow Artist Daniel Quinones. She stands tall, unafraid, bold, sacred and true. Her glory is represented in the movement of her hair and is planting her treasures in heaven represented by the city buildings that are dripping from the tips of her hair. She doesn’t look to the earth from which she stands for her value or worth but strongly looks to her Father in Heaven for this, her eyes never leave Him or she might drown. The ones below around her are expressing their reactions to the Word, represented in the pure white of her gown as the pages of the Bible. Some shriek in madness, anger and hostility while others are convicted and give ear to shame, while others reach for her and hunger for answers. Stay on the look out for the final brush stroke…as the story unfolds….
